Carhartt WIP First Drop

It's been a long time coming, but finally after lots of hard work, Shelflife will officially be stocking Carhartt WIP for South Africans!

Carhartt was founded in America in 1989, known for their quality and durable workwear, while also employing unionised work force. The success of brand started with their ‘Union Made’ Carhartt duck overalls, but grew into so much more thanks to Edwin Faeh.

In 1994, Edwin established his project ‘Work in Progress’ and became the first distributor of Carhartt in Europe. This allowed the brand a greater bearing and global outreach. Soon colours and styles exclusive to Europe were being manufactured. With the distinct American style of Carhartt, the WIP designs appealed more to the European sensibility.

The first Carhartt WIP drop at Shelflife CPT, JHB and online includes tees, polos, longsleeves, pants, jackets, sweatshirts and even keyrings. Stay tuned for the full collection with all colours!

The first of many Carhartt WIP collection drops 1 November 2018 at 4pm at the JHB store and 6pm at the CPT store. Please note: the online store will drop the collection at 8pm.
