adidas x Pharrell Williams BYW LVL in White

adidas x Pharrell Williams BYW LVL in White
With each passing month, it seems as if Pharrell’s co-created collection of adidas sneakers continues to grow, whether it be by way of the NMD Hu, the Solar Hu, or the boisterous Crazy BYW LVL X featured here. Pharrell brings his inimitable visual flare to one of adidas Originals’ most striking silhouettes this season, transforming the evolutionary BYW silhouette with an unmissable multi-colour palette.

A progression of adidas’ groundbreaking Feet You Wear concept from the 1990s, the BYW (Boost You Wear) model features a unique podular tooling which facilitates freedom of movement across the foot. The use of contemporary BoostTM tooling then pushes this ethos even further, offering the greatest cushioning available today.

For this collaborative release, Pharrell updates the BYW model in his signature vibrant aesthetic, countering a white knitted sock upper with contrast overlays in red, green, yellow and blue, particularly across the shoe’s distinctive BoostTM tooling.

Finishing touches on the forefoot, lateral side and lace loops complete the picture, while embroidered text details reading ‘Gratitude’ and ‘Empathy’ across the tongue panels add a final touch of Pharrell’s universal humanist philosophy.

The adidas x Pharrell Williams BYW LVL X in White drops 29 March for the retail price of R3999 at our CPT and JHB stores via first come first serve. The JHB store opens at 9am, CPT at 10am. Remaining pairs will release online at 11am.
