Zombie Walk CPT 2018

Halloween is around the corner and you know what that means, the City’s annual Zombie Walk is upon us too!

Each year sees the Zombie Walk/Fest and take over the streets of Cape Town. The Zombie Walk is an all ages event making it fun for the entire family, with pets included. The walk aims to raise funds for local charities like the Lucky Lucy Foundation for abused and neglected animals.

The original walk took place in 2009 with 180 people. But the event has grown from strength to strength, with this year's event looking to be 15000 zombies strong. The Zombie Walk ends in a wild after-party at Madison Avenue in the CBD. Expect three dance floors, crazy lights and screens, moving heads and over 10 DJs.

With Cape Town widely regarded as the party destination of choice for many South Africans and tourists, the Cape Town Zombie Fest offers something unique to bring them all together. This has led to bigger turnouts than expected and massive amounts of media coverage both locally and internationally.

Zombie Walk has a 100% safety record with no real blood ever spilled. The event will have a local Traffic Department involved helping with road closures, as well as marshals to assist with crowd control, medical staff and ambulances on standby throughout the walk, to make sure it’s a safe and clean environment for all.

The Zombie Walk Cape Town 2018 is this Saturday 27 October 2018, with the walk starting at the Company Gardens in the CBD at 6pm and ends at the after-party venue of Madison Avenue, 12 Prestwitch street.

Get your tickets for the Zombie Walk Afterparty at Nutickets or buy at the door. The Zombie walk is free for all!
