Tristan Eaton Drops First-Ever Metal Kidrobot Dunny

You may not know that Tristan Eaton is the guy you should thank for Kidrobot's iconic Dunny character. Created in 2004 with founder Paul Budnitz, the Dunny model has gone on to become synonymous with the Kidrobot brand and is one of the most popular figurines season after season.

Now, a decade and a half later, Eaton is releasing the world’s first metal Dunny to the public! Called ‘New Money’, the 5-inch Dunny gets covered in the artist’s signature collage-like style, incorporating the words “New Money” into the design, as well as other bling themes and some floral parts for good measure.

“It’s really about sarcastically hyping up the bling of it, you know. Kind of bringing together all these bling stereotypes in a way,” Eaton explains. “There’s gold chains in there, gold teeth…you know, all those elements of decadence. Kind of brought it all into one form.”

The New Money Dunny sold out instantly on Kidrobot's website, but check out our Kidrobot offering here - all exclusive to Shelflife in South Africa!
