Nike Air Jordan 9 Low Chicago
The Air Jordan 9 Low coming in a Black and White colourway is set to release this weekend at Shelflife! The Air Jordan 9 Low “Chicago” colourway looks a little similar to the Air Jordan 9 Low “Derek Anderson” but with a completely different build. Taking on a sleek black colourway, the pair includes contrasting hits of red throughout.
Dressed in the traditional Bred/Chicago Bulls colour scheme, the sneaker features a Black leather upper and tongues with matching Black snakeskin textured overlay on the mudguard and heel. Other details include Gym Red accents and a clean White rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Jordan 9 Low Chicago will drop this weekend the 16th of April for the retail price of R1899.00. We will also release BG sizes (that will be available online) for the retail price of R1699.00
Concepts x New Balance "City Rivals"
Sneaker boutique Concepts has joined forces with New Balance to release a special edition “City Rivalry” Pack that’s inspired by the battle between New York City and Boston, with their Baseball teams the New York Yankees and the Red Sox.
This Rivalry release consists of two different pairs of New Balance sneakers, the New Balance 997 and the 998. New York is represented on the New Balance 997 which features a light green/teal upper with silver accents that serves as a nod to the Statue of Liberty. While the 998 silhouette represents the Boston Red Sox which comes in a clay and green colour scheme.
Like their "Red Sox" 998 counterpart, these colours don't exactly scream "Yankees," but that's hardly a bad thing – both silhouettes are made in the U.S.A and will come in a special concession stand-inspired box. The Concepts x New Balance “City Rivals” will release this Saturday the 16th of April in store only for the retail price of R5499.00
ASICS GEL-Lyte III & ASICS GEL-Lyte V "Japanese Denim"
ASICS have unveiled their latest take on the GEL-Lyte III and V, officially titled the “Japanese Denim” edition.
The trainer pays tribute to the brands historical Japanese culture and roots. The Japanese Denim Gel Lyte III comes with a unique construction for the simple fact that Japanese selvage denim covers a huge portion of the shoe’s upper. The selvage denim motif is covered in white dots to create a contrast within the material.
Also visible on the shoe are the leather hits found on the Asics stripe branding on the side panels. To finish, the shoe gets even more of a premium feel as an off-white suede is placed on the toe and heel region of the shoe. Black laces, a white midsole and off-white outsole complete the look of the shoe.
The ASICS GEL-Lyte V famed for its innovative construction methods, Ronny Fieg’s inspired design is full to the brim with performance benefits. A sock-like inner makes this pair especially popular, boasting an incredibly comfortable fit.
As always, the signature gel cushioned midsole offers maximum impact protection when you need it most. To complete this pair, a polka dot pattern is stamped throughout. Taking on a cream palette, this complements other elements on the shoe such as the piped branding and midsole.

Nike Air Jordan 30 Black Cat
The Air Jordan 30 Black Cat was showcased way back in February during NBA All-Star weekend in Toronto when it was on display at the Jordan flagship store in Toronto at 306 Yonge. The Jordan Brand has finally decided to release this fresh colourway this coming weekend!
A combination of black and anthracite is utilized on the upper, along with white detailing throughout for a nice added contrast. A black mesh tongue gives that all important breathability making it the perfect choice for the warmer months.
Other impressive performance features include the integrated laces and Lunarlon midsole underfoot. Both improve support and offer that added protection. To complete the look, a translucent blue outsole features and a unique motif is stamped to each tongue.
