Red Bull Reign Hits Joburg
Joburg is joining the action once again with the return of Red Bull Reign to Joburg this weekend. 3-on-3 basket ball is hitting the city’s most historic courts in the shadows of the famed Ponte Tower. To make things even more exciting, the team who takes top honours on the day head to the World Finals in Washington later this year.
Arguably the most exciting 3-on-3 streetball tournament in the world, Red Bull Reign’s cumulative scoring system sees teams of three play against each other in rounds with the highest scoring team advancing to the next round. This system makes for a tournament that is packed with fast-paced offence. 
The qualifiers have already been held in Cape Town, Durban and Pietermaritzburg with the top 24 highest scoring teams advancing to the final in Johannesburg. This ensures those playing this weekend are the best in the country, with all teams hoping to advance to the final in Washington. Last year's event was filled with good music and even better kicks, worn by players and attendees alike.
The Red Bull Reign South Africa is being held this Saturday 28 July 2018 at Ponte Towers Basketball Courts in JHB. Matches will kick off at 10:00am.
