Puma Tsugi Shinsei

From the Japanese for “next,” PUMA‘s latest line, known as Tsugi, focuses on a combination of unconventional design elements that come together to form the aesthetic of the collection. With a nod towards Eastern sensibilities, “Shinsei” translates to “reborn” in Japanese, with the futuristic low-top Tsugi Shinsei being the first style to release from the range.

The Puma Tsugi Shinsei is a contemporary and striking new addition to join the already impressive line of performance footwear from the brand. The Japanese homage is a lesson in sneaker simplicity where much of the emphasis lies with top grade materials and innovative design measures. This brand-new runner takes its name from the Japanese word for ‘Next’. It’s an apt theme given that the technology takes us to the next phase of PUMA’s deluge in the performance footwear market. As with many contemporary releases, soft and lightweight knitted material covers the upper for that foot hugging comfort.

Synthetic panels and a mesh overlay across the forefoot provides additional support and durability. While there’s a darker colourway to choose from, this pair keeps it fresh and minimalist in a vibrant shade of off white. It’s the unique lacing system which sets this shoe apart from all others. The lacing weaves along the sidewall and provides an integrated fit that adjusts in tightness according to movement.

To complete this runner, classic PUMA branding hits the tongue and an Invite midsole sits underfoot, providing that energising cushioning and support.

The Puma Tsugi Shinsei will drop in our CPT, JHB and online store on Thursday the 15th of June 2017 for the retail price of R2499.00
