PUMA x Pirelli Replicat X
PUMA has tapped its motorsport heritage through this partnership with tire manufacturer Pirelli. The two brands joined forces on the Replicat X, a sneaker whose sole tread is taken from the Pirelli Cinturato tire used in Formula One.
The low-top sneaker takes inspiration from Formula One cars, reflected in its low profile and the tire-like sole unit that wraps up and around the sides of the shoe. As mentioned, the tread pattern is taken from Pirelli’s F1 Cinturato tire. The upper has a mix of microfiber suede on the vamp, lateral mesh panels, and exposed stitching.
The sneaker has a low profile with a wraparound rubber outsole that gives it a distinctive, racing-inspired look. Hits of green and blue on an otherwise predominantly white design give it a sleek look.
The PUMA x Pirelli Replicat X drops 26 April for the retail price R1999 at our CPT, JHB and online store via first come first serve. The JHB store will be open from 9am, CPT from 10am. The online store will drop limited pairs at midnight!
