Nike: On Air Voting is Open
Nike have announced the final stage of the Air Max competition that calls to six cities from around the world to create an Air Max inspired by their community’s unique cultural fingerprint. Thousands of entries were presented to a Nike panel during the 3-day workshop series. The judging panel, that included Nike designers and city ambassadors, then reduced the group and selected 18 top finalists for the Nike: On Air competition. With 3 local designers each representing their own cities, the competition has finally been opened to the public for voting.
Many of you will remember a similar competition from last year that created the now-legendary Sean Wotherspoon 97/1s. So keep yourself locked to this competition to catch the hype before the hypebeasts.
Beginning on May 8, registered Nike members can vote for their favourite designs from each city: Paris, London, New York, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo. You’ll have six days to decide, and you’re eligible to vote once per day. Vote for your favorite Air Max design here. Voting ends on 13 May with one design from each city going into production.
