Laduma Ngxokolo to Headline 100% Design SA in August
The 100% Design South Africa 2019 is around the corner and things have been getting more exciting with this year’s headliner being announced. None other than Laduma Ngxokolo is joining the line-up for the latest instalment of 100% Design. He will be brining his contemporary Afropolitan-chic to the festival for all to enjoy from 7 to 11 August.
Laduma’s brand, MaXhosa, has gained serious global recognition and endorsement from around the world, with celebrities like Swizz Beats, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Rafael Saadiq and Riky Rick all donning his designs.
For 2019, Laduma will be presenting his collection of rugs, cushion and throws, as well as his new trade-friendly offering of upholstery, wallpaper and curtaining, along with a few surprises.
This year’s 100% Design South Africa has arguably the strongest roster ever, demonstrating the sheer wealth of talent there is in our country. As always, it will showcase the various creatives in their industries, with other featured creatives including street artist r1, as well as furniture designer John Vogel and so many more.
