Adidas Consortium x INVINCIBLE Superstar 80v to release at Shelflife!
Celebrating their 10-year anniversary, adidas Consortium have joined forces with INVINCIBLE on a special release of the Superstar 80v. The collaboration follows the Taipei-based retailer’s recent efforts alongside ASICS and marks their first-ever partnership with adidas Consortium.
Pulling inspiration from the native people of Taiwan, INVINCIBLE mimics the traditional costumes on the sneaker. A focus on blue, white and red in pastel shading has been added around the collar of the sneaker using small beads.
Zig-zag adidas Three Stripes branding tags the low-tops alongside the grey upper, while a light-coloured Shell Toe and matching midsole provide a contrast. As another gesture to the Taiwanese heritage and the materials they use for armour as well as ceremonial gatherings, a fish scale-like application is showcased on the tongue. Distinct INVINCIBLE tagging has been stamped towards the heel, as the insole welcomes a traditional tribal print.
