Reebok x Ghostbusters
Reebok is set to return to the world of the paranormal with two new releases inspired by the 1984 blockbuster, Ghostbusters!
The Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers, a movie take on the Alien Stomper Mid silhouette features an interesting combination of the iconic Ecto-1 and the Neutrona Wand wielded by the crew. The white leather upper comes with a streak of red running across the ankle to the lateral areas as a nice reference to the Ecto-1’s red streak near the back of the car. A tiny silver bullet-like attachment is found just under the streak to reflect the headlights of the vehicle. The shoe also sports a dirty, weathered look. The Ghostbusters logo, with colours reversed this time, is etched onto the black tongue to complete the collaborative sneaker.
More references to the Neutrona Wand are seen towards the upper end of the shoe. These come in the form of a dial-like attachment just above the red streak, as well as a yellow/black striped pattern covering the Reebok logo and little circles on the other side to represent the energy indicators located on the strap.
And as a final cheeky nod to the film, the underside of the velcro strap reveals the “Who you gonna call?” tagline on one side, and the “We’re ready to believe you” hotline printed onto the other, so you know just what to do when there’s something strange in the neighbourhood.
The Reebok x Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers drops Saturday 31 October for R2999 via online raffle only! Winners contacted from 11am on Thursday 29 October.

Shelflife presents the Online Raffle system which will allow you to enter for the opportunity to purchase one pair from the Reebok x Ghostbusters Ghost Smasher.

1. This raffle is free and open to all people residing in South Africa ONLY.
2. By entering your name, shoe size, valid bar-coded ID or Passport and email address, your name will be entered into the draw for the opportunity to buy one pair of the Reebok x Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers in your size, at the given date and time.
3. To qualify for the opportunity to purchase online, you must have a confirmed online profile/account with Shelflife.co.za. To create your account, please sign up. Please ensure your account is updated with contact details, and shipping information. If you have already created an account with Shelflife.co.za in the past you do not need to create a new one.
4. After completing an online profile, you can enter the raffle via our dedicated link with your details from 3pm on Monday 26th of October until Thursday 11am on the 29th of October 2020. If you enter multiple times you will be disqualified.
5. The winners will be drawn at random and will be contacted and invoiced from 11am on the 29th of October, via email only (please make sure the email you have created for your online profile matches your online competition form). Online Raffle Winners will have until Saturday the 31st of October 3pm, to make payment for their online order. Should payment not reflect by then, they will be removed from the raffle, and Shelflife will continue to the next participant. Payment will only be accepted via EFT/cash deposit.
6. Successful entrants will be eligible to purchase their size they have selected ONLY in the online raffle form and must settle payment in full prior to receiving their pair.
7. Each successful entrant will have the right to purchase one pair of the Reebok x Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers in the size they indicated on their entry. Entrants may not swap sizes nor request another size than the one they indicated in their entry.
8. The Reebok x Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers will cost R2999 each and is payable via EFT/cash deposit during the allocated time online. All info is contained in the winning email.
9. Shelflife has the final say in all sales of the Reebok x Ghostbusters Ghost Smasher.
