The legacy continues with the perfect blend of cushioning and style in the Made in USA 990v5 from New Balance.
Coming in Black/Silver or Grey, the 990v5 is comprised primarily of velvety suede at its uppers, accompanied by breathable mesh. The tongue features a semi-transparent Made In USA label of the American Flag. As the fifth version of the M990, what’s been updated is the 'N' logo at the sides enlarged from its preceding v4 model — the 'N' logo and the lower heel uses matching reflective fabric.
Below are the sneaker’s ENCAP midsole and Ortholite insole that have been made more angular and straight-edged in this sneaker. Other details include subtle elements like '990' embroidered near the rear and a red 'V' stamp at the heel.
