atmos x PUMA Clyde "Tattoo"

Japanese retailer atmos has teamed up with PUMA to release a special edition atmos x PUMA Clyde Ukiyo-e collaboration.

Designed by Ichibay Chang from Three Tides Tattoo, this PUMA Clyde uses a tattoo design and colours inspired by the uniquely Japanese art known as Ukiyo-e.

Known as the atmos x Puma Clyde Tattoo, this pair of sneakers features a black suede upper with a colourful Japanese wave pattern being placed on the side panels. The artwork, which is done by Ichibay, is inspired by the traditional ukiyo-e woodblock prints from the 17th to 19th centuries known across the world as one of the country’s greatest artistic exports.

PUMA and atmos are inscribed on the tongues with Japanese characters 壱兵衛 and 三巴彫 that translate to “ichibay and three tides tattoo”. On the heels is 壱兵衛筆 which means “drawn by ichibay.”

The atmos x PUMA Clyde “Tattoo” will drop this Saturday at Shelflife for the retail price of R3499.00
