adidas x Dragon Ball Z Yung-1 and ZX 500 RM
Originally announced in December last year, the adidas Dragon Ball Z collection is finally upon us! The collection will feature 6 distinct sneakers, all designed to represent three of the most iconic battles between heroes and villains of the series. The collection begins this month with a “Son Goku” adidas ZX 500 RM and the “Frieza” adidas Yung 1.
The "Son Goku" adidas ZM 500 RM is dressed in an orange upper, combined with yellow mesh panels and blue accents, sitting atop a full-length Boost midsole. Canvas material and frayed edges on the 3-Stripes and tongue give a nod to the hero's training suit, while boost cushioning gives them a lightweight, energised feel.
The adidas Yung-1 comes dressed in a Cloud White, Unity Purple and Clear Lilac colour combination. Resembling the character Frieza, this pair features White mesh and leather across the upper while both Purple and Pink accents are used to mimic the character's shiny skin.
The adidas Yung 1 'Frieza' and ZX 500 RM 'Son Goku' release 29 September 2018 at both our CPT and JHB stores live raffle at 9:30am. Remaining pairs will be online by 11am.
