1989 saw the introduction of the ZX 8000 into the adidas Originals ZX Series. Infused with the breakthrough technology of the era; including adidas’ Torsion system and Soft Cell technologies; ZX 8000 became an iconic model, receiving a slew of colourway adaptations and repeat returns during the ‘90s. Its testament to style, design and revolutionary technology, saw the ZX 8000 pioneer as a leading performance and lifestyle model.

25 years later, the ZX 8000 formula is revisited in the next-generation ZX FLUX.

Two original styles will release in the ZX FLUX range: The ZX FLUX Weave Pack and the ZX FLUX Photo Pack.

Pushing boundaries with evolutionary design, both ZX FLUX ranges sport a contemporary streamlined construction, with form fitting synthetic one-piece upper and heel cradle for foot stabilization. Staying true to the ZX 8000, both ranges retain three essential elements from the original ZX 8000 shoe: the cage, torsion and the three stripes.

Leading the ZX FLUX Photo Pack, the highly sought-after Multi Colour Prism model boasts a multi-coloured vibrant upper, with all-over graphic prism print treatment. Black stripes complement an external heel counter, and a crisp white sole finishes the look.

The ZX FLUX Weave Pack features three original models in three versatile colourways of black, grey and coral/grey. Sporting a singular full woven upper, the ZX FLUX Weave Pack boasts classic ZX accents and clean graphic overlays for an ultra modern and minimal design. Tonal three stripes and external heel counter complement the uppers, while a white midsole offers a bold hit of contrast.
