adidas Continental 80 Releasing this Week
Initially, the return of the Continental 80 sneaker from the late 1980s was set to be called the adidas Rascal, but now, it appears that it will return under its original name. Serving as inspiration for the popular adidas Yeezy Powerphase line from Kanye and the German Sportswear brand, this simplistic sneaker is straight out of the Three Stripe’s never-ending archives. The Continental 80 sneaker is a classic casual model, made from a soft premium leather with perforation vents on the toe box and sides, placed atop a double cupsole.
Equipped with a red and navy stripe down its upper as well as a terry-cloth interior, it is an exact copy of the original release that is long overdue for a re-issue. Nostalgic adidas fans looking for a new addition to their rotation will have a white or a black version of the Continental 80 to choose from.
