The Make-Believe Train Party is Back!
Three years have passed since the Make-Believe brand last chartered a classic community train and transformed it into consecutive, mobile music carriages.
The team has been waiting in anticipation since 2016 for the powers that be at Metrorail to bring back this one-of-a-kind party experience! In the words of the organisers, "Until you ride the Make-Believe party train you’ve not yet experienced an event that peaks from START to FINISH!”
This is how it’ll go down: a Metrorail train will have each of its 8 carriages fitted with its own sound-rig, centralised DJ and mini-bar, with you able to move from carriage to carriage. The 8-carriage party will you along the coastal, seaside-meandering southern line route passing Muizenberg, St James and arriving to a stop at Kalk Bay Station.
After the trip, step into one of Cape Town’s best food & music institutions - The Brass Bell! You can expect 5 live electronic acts, with only 500 tickets available - ensuring that you have that intimate band feel. In total that's 6 carriages, 5 live acts, 3 DJs, 2 train trips and one great destination. Stay tuned for the full line up!
The Make-Believe Train Party is happening 30 November. The train leaves at 3pm from CT Metrorail Station in Adderley Street CBD. Get your tickets here! Available tickets include the full trip as well as just for The Brass Bell leg.
