Stained Glass Meets Graffiti with Annahita Hessami

MTN Blog recently sat down with Iranian/British artist Annahita Hessami for an interview. While what she does is completely different to the usual suspects you find on the MTN blog, her stained glass work is in fact influenced by graffiti. Annahita’s pieces have a close relation to the culture's aesthetic and even intentionally references renowned artists like Musa71, Fanakapan and Insa.

If you've ever been to our Johannesburg Flagship store, you'll know we too have a love for Stained Glass art. The store features a massive piece paying homage to Shelflife's graffiti beginnings, our biggest collaborations and other iconic local items. See the blog on our Stained Glass window in JHB here too.
