Shelflife Introduce Medicom Toy Bearbricks
Shelflife are extremely excited to announce that we will be exclusively stocking famous Japanese toy brand - Medicom Toys. Medicom Toy was founded in Japan in 1996, with the aim to create collectable pieces of art rather than conventional toys. Therefore their products are sold in limited quantities. 
Medicom Toy's most famous creations is that of the Bearbrick. They appear to be a combination of LEGO and a bear, while also being derived from a previous Medicom Toy, the Kubrick.
Coming in three main sizes, 100%, 400% and the ultra rare 1000%, the Bearbrick section of Medicom has grown to include collaborations with just about anything and anyone. From Jean-Michel Basquiat to Daft Punk, from Atmos to Bape, the Bearbrick culture has touched all corners of modern fashion and hype culture. 
We are extremely honoured and excited to be the only store in the country selling Bearbricks and we start our offering with a wide variety of Medicom Toy Bearbrick goods. These include sets of 100% and 400% Bearbrick figurines with Atmos, Nike SB, Kidill and Mutan Ninja Turtles, as well as 100% Mystery Blind Boxes. There are also Bearbrick earphones, keyring torches and even playing cards. 
The Medicom Toy selection is now available at our CPT and online store, with it being available in JHB next week.
