One of this year's most spectacular sneaker collaborations will soon become a reality - adidas and Reebok have teamed up to create a BOOST-clad version of Instapump Fury, and it will be released in two editions on November 22.
An ode to the groundbreaking beginnings of each innovation, the Reebok x adidas Instapump Fury Boost will be released in two OG colourways. The Citron Yellow colourway is a nod to the Instapump Fury’s debut colour scheme. The black/purple iteration, on the other hand, is a tribute to the first-ever Ultraboost. Behind the simple colour schemes, however, hides an advanced and innovative sneaker that has been ahead of its time since its 1994 release.
The Instapump Fury model, created by Steven Smith who now works for Kanye West's Yeezy brand, is best known for pump technology that overlaps laces and has a tremendously comfortable upper. It has now been further upgraded with adidas' Boost technology, giving the model an even higher level of comfort and performance.
To mark the new collaboration between adidas and Reebok (both owned by the adidas Group), the model is also equipped with a duo-branded band that wraps all the way around the shoe with both adidas' and Reebok's logos.
The Reebok x adidas Instapump Fury Boost 'OG meets OG' will drop on Friday 22 November at Shelflife Online for the retail price of R2999.00.
