The 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 90 may not be until next year, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with starting the festivities early, so the Swoosh Brand has brought back the classic 'Python' makeup from 2003 in all its original glory.
Coming in two colourways, the reptilian print which gives these 90s their nickname is worked subtly into the overlays, providing a very noticeable touch of detailing but not overpowering the clean and elegant look. The first colourway sees a greyscale-style, offering up a crisp white leather base and accenting it with grey tones both light and dark plus a black nubuck mudguard.
The second colourway sees an olive and black take on the 90, with the same subtle Python fabrication throughout. Soft red hits ornament the back 'Nike Air' logo as well as the inners of the Air unit while the tongue tab and midsoles prefer the bright face of a white shade.
The Nike Air Max 90 'Python' Pack drops this Thursday 13 June fro the retail price of R2299 at our CPT, JHB and online store via first come first served. The JHB store opens at 9am, CPT at 10am. The online store will drop limited pairs at midnight.
