Sportswear giant Nike has just revealed a brand new silhouette – the Air Max 270. Inspired by iconic Nike silhouettes from the early 1990s, the new shoe is named after its 270-degrees of visible air within the Air Max unit, and boasts key elements of both the Air Max 180 and the Air Max 93. First unveiled at Nike’s Investor Day held in the brand’s Oregon headquarters back in October, the Nike Air Max 270 is the next chapter to the legendary Air Max line up.
The Air Max 270 boasts a completely redesigned Air unit in the midsole which appears to be quite similar to the full length bubble seen on the Air VaporMax which dropped last year. The 270 is considered to be a lifestyle shoe, with a convenient slip on construction and an eclectic mesh pattern on the upper. Accented by Hyperfuse detailing on the mudguard and toe region, branding can be found throughout the sneaker, and a heel tab is present around the back for a much improved fit.
The Nike Air Max 270 will make it's debut at Shelflife CPT, JHB and online on the 3rd of March for the retail price of R2299.00
