It's been a long time coming, and now the "Maroon" Air Jordan 6 is finally getting a retro for the first time since its original release back in 1991. The much anticipated release will drop at Shelflife on the 5th of December.
The sneaker is one of the few Air Jordans that has never received a retro release. Earlier this year, rumours started swirling that the rare Air Jordan 6 would make its long-awaited return as one of the Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2015 releases.
True to its original form, the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” sports a white base with hits of maroon on the midsole, tongue and heel. The 2015 version will also see the return of the classic “Nike Air” branding on the back of the sneaker. This marks only the second time Nike will release an Air Jordan Retro with the OG Nike logo since the early 2000s (the Air Jordan 3 “88” being the first).
Pre-orders for the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” will open on Thursday the 3rd of December 2015 - stock is VERY LIMITED and we will only allow 1 pair per customer. To pre-order simply email email@example.com - while stocks last.
