The Nike Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” is set to drop this coming Friday at Shelflife!
One of the most beloved pairs of Air Jordan 8s will once again make a return this December, the Aquas. When Jordan Brand brought back the Air Jordan 8 in 2013, the Aqua was missing from the batch although the Bugs Bunny and Playoff models were released, this particular one was missing.
Worn originally during the 1993 All-Star Game, the Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” returns with fully remastered construction and OG materials. They were last released back in 2007, dressed in a Black, Bright Concord, Aqua Tone colour scheme.
As mentioned before, this 2015 release resembles the OG release from 1993 as it features grey on the back half and hits of glitter on the midsole. The rest of the shoe is done in a Black nubuck with hits of teal, aqua and purple landing on the midsole, outsole and tongue patch. Perforations also appear on the side panels and by the ankle for added ventilation in addition to the signature straps that wrap around the ankle.
