The Air Jordan 4 “Alternate ’89” is one of three Air Jordan models that completes the Air Jordan Retro “Alternate” Collection.
Inspired by Michael Jordan unveiling exclusive coloured-up performance Air Jordans on the court. As his recognizable shoes sparked a worldwide craze, Jordan Brand decided to design Player Exclusives those highly prized by athletes and collectors alike.
Giving a nod to Player Exclusives, the “Alternate ’89” edition of the classic Air Jordan 4 silhouette is dressed in the Chicago Bulls early “Home” colours – giving a look at what Michael Jordan could have worn during that era.
Featuring a full smooth and premium tumbled leather dipped in clean White, contrasting hits of bold Fire Red are executed across the sneaker’s unique netting, eyelets, and portions of its midsole unit to essentially reflect the signature colourway of the Chicago Bulls. Detailed with its respective signature on its heel tab, the silhouette receives subtle hints of black adorning the tongue, rear and outsole as well.
The Air Jordan 4 “Alternate ’89” will officially drop this Saturday the 9th of January 2016 at Shelflife for the retail price of R2199.00
