Richard “Rip” Hamilton has a long-standing relationship with Jordan Brand, one that began in earnest when he wore an Air Jordan 14 PE while capturing the Final Four MOP award in 1999 as a member of the UConn Huskies. Two decades and a ton of PEs later, Jordan Brand is honouring Hamilton’s first true footwear moment by giving that special PE a retail release on Saturday 27 April.
Bearing many a similarity to the AJ14 'Candy Cane,' Rip’s kicks combine a premium white leather base with bold red accents on the midsole and heel. Black is then used on the midfoot’s carbon fibre plate/the tongue, and also provides branded accents via the heel’s large “23” and the lateral side’s jewelled badge. The shoes are then encased in a classic silver box.
The Nike Air Jordan 14 - 'Rip Hamilton' drops 27 April for the retail price of R3099 at our CPT and JHB store via live raffle. The JHB raffle starts at 9am, CPT at 9:30am.
Sizes: UK6, UK7, UK8, UK9, UK10, UK11.
