This week, Nike issues up a women’s-only release. It’s been a while since we last saw florals hit the fashion scene, so it feels like a breath of fresh air to see the flowery patterns make a comeback, and on the classic Nike Air Force 1 silhouette at that.
With countless re-interpretations and several drastic changes made to the famed classic basketball shoe designed by Bruce Kilgore, this upcoming iteration is just another addition to the ever-expanding list of variations.
Both pairs of this Upstep LX edition of the AF1 feature denim uppers—one sporting indigo denim, while the other utilizes a light-washed denim. Suede accents are present on the Swoosh, heel tab, eyelets, and tongue tab, and the lining is made up of velvet. The highlight of the shoes are the sequin floral embroidery and patches that are scattered across the uppers.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Floral Sequin” Pack drops on the 1st of September for the retail price of R2999.00 each.
