LEGO Boost 'Star Wars' Pack

LEGO Boost 'Star Wars' Pack
LEGO’s Boost program, which incorporates a ton of bot kits that you can use to create controllable-via-app figurines, has announced a new pack of some of Star Wars‘ most iconic droids. Announced on the 4th of May (Star Wars Day), the pack contains 1177 pieces that allow the builder further immersion into the Star Wars universe. LEGO as a brand continues to connect technology and with its fan-favourite building blocks, and we are all for it!

Codenamed the Boost Droid Commander, the new set allows creators to control their new companions through the LEGO Boost Star Wars app. This allows you to program your droids and send them on nearly 40 different missions. These missions create a storyline that flows through the whole game, with expectedly weird LEGO-style plot.

Each droid, which includes R2-D2, a Gonk droid, and a Mouse droid, comes locked and loaded with different missions, authentic sounds from the movies, and are even engineered to mimic the movements as seen on screen. Some of the missions include R2-D2 being able to both receive and decode various messages, while the Mouse droid can locate trash and search for Rebel scum.

The LEGO Boost 'Star Wars' Pack drops 1 September via LEGO's own web store for the retail price of $200 (approximately R2900). Check them out in action below!
