LA Rapper Chika Debuts Title Track from Upcoming EP
She went viral in 2018 for her freestyle criticizing Kanye West.

Chika, the Alabama-born, Los Angeles-based rapper who went viral in 2018 after releasing a freestyle titled “A Letter to Kanye Omari West,” has revealed the title track off her anticipated upcoming EP, Industry Games. The fast-talking single takes a critical approach similar to that of her 2018 rap, in which she admonished West for supporting Donald Trump.

Since going viral, Chika has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, starred in Calvin Klein‘s #MyCalvins campaign and garnered a wide fan base that includes Cardi B and Naomi Campbell. The 22-year-old rapper also chatted with Zane Lowe on Beats 1’s New Music Daily Show, touching on “Industry Games” as well as her success. When asked what’s in store for 2020, Chika responds, “World domination. Fully reaping everything that I’ve sowed.”

Chika has yet to announce a release date for Industry Games, although the EP is expected to arrive soon.
