K.O Releases EP feat AKA and Cassper Nyovest
K.O has been pretty quiet since the release of his sophomore album Skhanda Republic 2 (SR2). Luckily, he has been working hard behind the scenes to bring fans more music, starting with a brand new EP titled Two Piece. Last week, the artist teased the EP on Twitter, asking fans to guess who the features might be.
The first song of the release is called Fire Emoji and features none-other than SA’s biggest rapper, AKA. The up-beat track is produced by Buks and sees AKA and his auto-tune join K.O to rap about shoes and other flex-worthy things.
The second track of Two Piece features yet another heavy hitter. Cassper Nyovest joins K.O for a Kwaito inspired track that is sure to please fans. Most will know Cassper and AKA don’t see eye-to-eye, so its great to see them collaborating, even if its at a distance on different tracks and only because K.O brought them onto the EP.
K.O keeps to his sound of Skhanda while introducing SA’s best rap sounds into mix. This is an exciting move for the artist who seems to be growing from strength to strength. Stream the Two Piece EP by K.O below and be sure to look out for future releases.
