Inside Virgil Abloh's Latest “Figures of Speech” Exhibition

Inside Virgil Abloh's Latest “Figures of Speech” Exhibition
Virgil Abloh is moving is world-renowned “Figures of Speech” exhibition to Atlanta this month. Having previously being housed in his hometown of Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, the milestone exhibition now moves to ATL’s High Museum of Art.

But it’s not just the same exhibition as Chicago either. The new “Figures of Speech” in Atlanta features new pieces and includes works by friends Brendan Fowler, Caramel Bobby, and Tremaine Emory

The exhibition as a whole acts as a retrospective look at what made Virgil the powerhouse that he is today. With ample quotation marks throughout, the exhibition features clothing, sneakers, sculptures and so many crazy installations. It really is an Abloh and Off-White fan’s dream come true. But the main attraction is of course the platform filled with unreleased, Nike x Off-White prototypes that never were.

The new "Figures of Speech" exhibition opened on the 12th of November and stays open until the 8th of March 2020. Luckily, HYPEBEAST went to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and got the goods.
