Gigi Hadid x Reebok SS19 Pack
Reebok and Gigi Hadid return to release their second collaborative capsule. The new Spring/Summer 2019 collection combines Reebok’s authentic heritage with Gigi’s fashion background. Additionally, the designs in the range speak to her past experiences as a volleyball player and equestrian.
The ’90s are an essential part of Reebok’s DNA, and the designs and colourways inspired from the same time period can be seen in the collection. The collaboration includes Reebok’s Classic Leather Double; an updated version of the original with an extra thick midsole. The unique rippled traction pattern complements the thick midsole to create an on-trend look. Full-grain leather vamp and toe speak to a soft first feel, and a lightweight EVA midsole and padded foam sockliner take comfort to the next level. Durability gets a boost too, with the high-abrasion rubber outsole. Gigi's style and colour palette bring this classic model to the next level while paying homage to Reebok’s heritage.
Other items in the pack include two pairs of Track Pants and one Cover Up Jacket, as well as one Track Jacket. The same complementary colourways of orange, teal, yellow, whites and red can be seen throughout the apparel to match the respective footwear. The track pants are made from a crisp, smooth plain weave fabric. The flattering straight-leg cut combines the comfort of leggings with the structure of jeans. Bold, geometric blocks of colour add flash. The track jacket's design is inspired by Gigi Hadid, blending sporty style with runway appeal. Geometric, colourful graphics adorn the front and sleeve too. Made of a crisp, smooth fabric, it also features elastic on the cuffs and hem for a snug fit. The Cover Up jacket sees bold colour blocks that create a look that's both modern and retro. Big, puffy sleeves and an oversized fit gives this roomy cover-up a comfy, casual feel. A sweatshirt-style kangaroo pocket finishes the look.
