After previously taking a look inside Virgil Abloh‘s book Figures of Speech, the Museum Of Contemporary Art Chicago has announced it will now be releasing the retrospective journal that will be limited to 1500 copies.
Figures of Speech spotlights Virgil’s work with the likes of Nike, Louis Vuitton, Kanye West and IKEA, covering disciplines such as fashion, design and architecture.
Figures of Speech is packed with 1,932 images and a number of essays which discuss race, contemporary art history, streetwear and more. Altogether, the Prestel-produced book spans 496 pages and features a fittingly minimalist hardback cover and tape measure-inspired bookmark.
This is seriously not to be passed on for any Virgil or Off-White enthusiasts! While Shelflife isn't fortunate enough to stock the book, you can pre-order it on Amazon here while stocks last! Price is about R605 (R1355 for special edition) excluding shipping and is set to release 2 July.
