Converse Presents the Design Indaba Music Circuit & Converse Clash Wall
Converse in conjunction with the Design Indaba Music Circuit is taking over Cape Town with two nights of amazing musical performances.
Paying homage to the city of Cape Town and its appointment as the 2014 World Capital of Design, the two-nights of performances – on the 26th and 27th of February – span 10 popular venues, with 38 various local musical acts in an array of genres.
Participating venues for Wednesday the 26th of February include; The Waiting Room, The Assembly, House of Machines, Truth Coffee, Jade Lounge, Piano Bar, The Orphanage, The Odyssey, Straight no Chaser and Sgt Pepper; with a super sized serving of musical celebration on Thursday the 27th at The Assembly (20h00 – 02h30).

Also taking place in Cape Town this weekend is the launch of the Converse Sneakers Clash.
Inspired by the bright colours and elevated silhouettes of the Winter 2014 Converse All Star sneaker collection, the Converse Sneaker Clash will come to life through the Wall of Clash activation, designed to disrupt the monotony of a grey world through the use of bright and colourful expression.
Through the Wall of Clash, street artists will combine their various graphic styles and techniques, in a clash of design and collaboration, to bring pieces to life in unexpected locations, with followers of @Converse_Africa able to make suggestions on what to paint through social media.
