Cape Town Illustrator Ian Jepson Featured on Fortnite

No one can deny that Fortnite has taken the world by storm. With the recent World Cup having a $30 Million prize-pool (the biggest in eSports history), there are definitely no signs of it slowing down either. With Season X now in full swing, many would've rushed to the new Battle Pass to see what new skins, emotes and loading screens you can progress and unlock in the latest season. Some might have recognised 3 loading screens in particular, all done by Cape Town-based Illustrator Ian Jepson.

Ian took to his Instagram last week to announce that he was contacted by the game's studio to produce loading screens for their current season. He said it was, "probably the most fun project I've done this year so far!" Look out for the Cuddle Up, Boost and Hands Off loading screens that are now live in Season X of Fortnite. Also, see Ian Jepson's early sketches and designs below to see the full process.

It's amazing to see a local artist get the attention he deserves, showcasing his work on one of the biggest platforms in the world. Congratulation Ian!
