Billie Eilish & Takashi Murakami’s 'you should see me in a crown' Exhibition
You’ve probably seen Billie Ellish's music video for her track ‘you should see me in a crown’, in collaboration with none other than Takashi Murakami. The animated music video is now getting the real-world love it deserves in Takashi’s own Animanga Zingaro Gallery in Tokyo. Take a tour below!

The presentation displays preliminary concept sketches of varying sequences and subjects from the video including the anime-transformed singer, Murakami’s ‘Flowers,’ the sinister spider creature, among others. If you really loved the music video, you'll love getting a closer look at all the different parts that made up the visuals for the song.

Highlights include a life-size statue of Eilish, the musician’s ensembles framed, and the Japanese icon’s instruction manual for the film that was utilised for storyboarding the music video. Accompanying the works is a gift shop selling curated merchandise comprised of graphic tees, hoodies, tote bags, and the collaborative vinyl figure depicting Eilish’s likeness.
