Asics Gel Lyte 30th Anniversary
Asics is reaching deep into the vault and bringing back the Asics Gel Lyte, the silhouette that paved the way for the Gel Lyte 3 and Gel Lyte 5. The Asics Gel Lyte turns 30 this year, so Asics has decided to release special shoe that celebrates the model’s 30th anniversary.
The Asics Gel Lyte 30th Anniversary is essentially a reissue of the OG colourway that dropped back in 1987. Rocking a White, Black and Orange colour scheme, the classic runner is constructed out of mesh and suede while the use of leather can be found on the branding stripes. Done in predominantly White and Black, the Orange is used as the accented hue that can be found on the sides of the ankle. Below you will find a dual-density midsole and a Gel cushioned outsole. If you’re a fan of the Asics Gel Lyte line, this is definitely a classic you need to add to your collection.
