The 2014 Nike Black History Month Collection

Originating in the early 20th century, Black History Month – initially Black History Week – dedicates the month of February to the preservation and celebration of black history and culture. For the fourth year in a row, Nike commemorates Black History Month with a range of lifestyle and performance footwear and apparel.

The 2014 Nike Black History Month Collection centers around the theme of Sports Royalty, celebrating the achievements and contributions of a handful of extraordinary athletes; including LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Allyson Felix, Maya Moore and Ishod Wair. Dressed in regal hues of black, purple and gold, the collection boasts an all-new designed BHM pattern print and emblem.

Leading the collection, a metallic gold LeBron 11 NSW and a blacked-out Lunar Force 1 Lux with metallic purple Lunarlon sole, sport a build of premium materials and magnificent colours.
