First released in 1979, the New Balance CT300 tennis shoe became a firm favourite due to its supreme comfort and durability on court. Thirty-five years later, New Balance teams up with four popular sneaker boutiques around Europe; 24 Kilates, Firmament, Hanon and Sneakersnstuff; to produce four exclusive limited edition iterations of the classic silhouette, hand-crafted from premium materials at New Balance’s factory in Flimby, UK.
24 Kilates x New Balance CT300 'Vamos a la Playa'
Paying tribute to their Spanish heritage and the beach culture of Barcelona, 24 Kilates fits the CT300 silhouette in a premium mesh and suede build to represent the sea, sand and surf, and gives the CT300 the designation Vamos a La Playa which translates to Let’s Go to The Beach.
Firmament x New Balance CT300 'Pine Sunset'
Berlin's Firmament uses a combination of premium suede and mesh for its Pine Sunset iteration of the CT1300, built with a white and cream base complemented with ochre tones.
Hanon x New Balance CT300 'Phoenix'
Inspired by the colours used in their 2006 release of the New Balance 576 Northern Sole series, Hanon fits its CT300 with a vibrant colourway of mesh and pig suede construction.
Sneakersnstuff x New Balance CT300 '1999'
Taking inspiration from the first Sneakersnstuff store, which opened in Stockholm in 1999, Sneakersnstuff founders Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson, dress the CT300 silhouette in a tonal white, grey and burgundy colourway to resemble to interior aesthetics of the first store.
