What happens when you open a door into a space with people, culture, fame, and foreign idioms spreading their stardom on the dancefloor? Less discourse, more democracy at the disco!
This cultural revolution comes from conversations with the youth, for the sake of inclusion, diversity and real representation we present to you - Siybangena - the unofficial afterparty for this year's Art Fair.
After two years of not being able to socialise, gather and celebrate - Siyabangena invites you to an #artists4artists- led event, hosted at The Ramp by an eclectic mix of beings: Vogue Nights Jozi, Boredom Studios and Boza Productions.
Central to this hedonistic halfway house will be a Voguing Ball hosted by Spectrum and Vogue Nights Jozi. A panorama of all queers, trans, lesbians, cis-hets, non-bin guests - and everything in between - are encouraged to show up as their truest selves - all are welcome – ‘not for you, for everyone'.
