Air Jordan 5 Retro - 'Easter'
A little late but still as sought-after, the Air Jordan 5 arrives in the Easter colourway for Men's and Grade School sizes this week.
Originally released in 1990, the Air Jordan 5 first dropped in four colourways, inspired by a World War 2 Mustang fighter jet. Taking the world by storm, it featured a reflective 3M tongue, mesh netting side panels as well as a unique set of lace locks. The AJ5 was first retroed in 2000, with many famous colourways including the Fire Red and Grape. In 2020, Off-White changed the game with their own version of the Metallic Air Jordan 5.
The latest irritation comes dressed in a Regal Pink, Ghost, and Copa colour scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 5 features a Regal Pink base with Silver tongues, Pastel Blue contrasting accents and speckled shark teeth overlays. A glow-in-the-dark translucent outsole with colourful egg-dyed insoles housed in special packaging completes the design.
The Air Jordan 5 - 'Easter' drops in Men's and Grade School sizes this Thursday 4 August in CPT, JHB and online.
